One more night of Adderall abuse I guess…. Finally fixed my sprinkler system valves,.. they were hammered and because she’s the worst supervisor ever, I waited until she went to bed and se up a work light and performed the repairs…. At least I’m not getting hollered at… so peaceful in the garage.. got Coast to Coast radio, my iPad, some hard ciders a Comfy summer robe and you……

I’m not feeling all that guilty about this…. Especially after the high volume 30 minute lecture on solenoid and pancake valve repair. 20 years as an electromechanical repair technician I just had to ask.. “honey…honey stop.. I just want to ask one question…. What is a solenoid and how does it work?”….
You guessed it…”it’s the electric thing”…

So I just waited, promised I would wake up early like she does and we would replace the flanges etc together…. Yeah right. Changed out ten in about 40 minutes. Solenoids do go bad but they’re petty simple solid state 24 volt dc , in this case, devices.

Maybe I need to get a job where I’m working overnights again…. IDK…..

Ooh I think I hear a prowler trying to get into my side yard…. Might get to put a .357imch hole in someone’s earthsuit…. I’ll be back.
