Zero hurry, zero worry. Dirt. Dust. Beer. Bumps. Sun. Desert wandering. Two tracks. Sand. Grit. Rock formations. Maybe dry gold panning. Maybe a siesta. Maybe not. Maybe some rock hounding. Lizard watching. Chill. Rambling. Walk through old stone structures and foundations from the 1800’s. Identifiable and non identifiable abandoned rust. Sagebrush. Random exploring. Obstacles every now and then to stretch the Jeeps legs. Camp fire. Beer again. Sleep. Do it all again the next day.
I’m going out for a two day, two night Jeep trip in the SE Oregon and SW Idaho desert August 23 & 24. My wife had to cancel so I’ll be doing this one alone. Just me. One Jeep. I have my paths and sites picked but am just taking it as it goes. No timeframe. Adjustable trails as I come across them.
Anyone with some vehicle clearance and time to chill and take in a slow adventure in the desert going to be out that way?
(Again, my wife won’t be going this time. I added her pictures here well, because I like to. And to garner a bit of attention)
