Good Day IdahoHotSpring-ers!

First, I want to introduce my self to ya'll. My name is AJ, on Reddit im also known as u/easyInteraction88. I'm a born an bred Idaho native and have lived in Idaho for the majority of my 35 years. I was raised in Challis and spent alot of time exploring all the mountains, trails, lakes, creeks and hotsprings(etc) around Challis and on to Stanley. I have loved and supported Idaho's wilderness and abundant natural(back country) hotsprings for my entire life and I'm excited to be a possible knowledge base of such for ya'll. Feel free to contact me for whatever either directly or throught mod messages.

Our fearless leader, community creator, and head moderator u/LycheeBeautiful3468 has brought me on as a moderator to help her maintain r/IdahoHotSprings as a safe, spam free, and hotsprings foucused community for those who enjoy Idaho's hotsprings or those who are new to Idaho's hotsprings. Some of you may have noticed the quicker response to your reports of spam aswell as the quicker removal of spam posts and posts not related to hotsprings. While we are still experiencing alot of spam I am hoping to have it under control before to long with that being said there are some upcoming changes/updates I want to inform everyone about.

1. Implementation of required post flair, for example..Region the hotspring/you are in, Color-coded editable flair matching regions, ect

2. Implementation of for mods use only post flair Example: The red "Reply Required" flair on this post. This flair indicates that all community members are required to reply with their acknowledgment and understanding of the post subject/topics. Replies can be short and simple (ok, got it, etc) and either as a comment on the post or as a message.

3. New community description, New rules and removal reasons.

Those are just a couple things being worked on to hopefully combat the constant spam assault, there will be posts to fully explain flair and any new change. If any new changes negatively affect the community, mods will take it under advisement and decide to fully rescind it or replace with a better option(we will also seek community input).

Suggetions and comments are most definitely appreciated and accepted.

Remember respect is key! We all might be different people, but we all deserve the same respect!

Members of this community are required to be 18 years old and up, therefore everyone will be expected to act like adults.
