cast data Payne did

I think the FBI did the cell tower analysis. But how could Payne or even the FBI have known they actually needed an astronomer and maybe an astrologer to understand Kohberger's celestial nocturnal movements?

doing a great job that would have no doubt buckled the vast majority of the armchair critics

Predictable that a few Probergers on this post below are grudging and can't even note a very difficult job well done, dealing with what must have been a very traumatic scene, and a massively intense effort by Officer Payne and the rest of the investigation team.

What is even stranger is that by the Proberegr conspiracy mongers moon-howling, wallpaper-chewing, loon logic, Payne led an incredibly difficult conspiracy and cover up, under the very noses of 60 FBI agents and State Police, to plant evidence and even ensure, retrospectively, the framed suspect was out driving at 4.00am. Quite phenomenal as either a work of Proberger fiction or one of the most complex, time-travelling police conspiracies ever pulled off. This Proberger police malfeasance narrative is Back to the Future meets Oceans 11, but with more unwashed incels and loopier storylines.

That old chestnuts getting old mate

Would an old chestnut not already be old?

Your stale metaphors are getting metaphorical.
