Now, I am sure I shall receive a ton of backlash for this. However, in the early 90's Idaho was the epicenter of the white nationalist/supremacy movement. It took the federal government to move in, lawsuits from the ACLU and Southern Law Poverty Center, to get the Patriot Front moved out of Idaho. All of this made national and international news. The nation and worlds perception is Idaho is an inherently racist state. Many people have moved here, like Ammon Bundy, etc, for that reason. Hell, you had a Lt Governor speak at a white nationalist conference.
Now, what does what I just said have to do with anything? This:
These two are both part of an Ayran prison gang, started right here in Idaho. Again, this news story, is on the national and international news outlets. It merely reinforces what people think of this state.
Does that mean everyone in this state is racist? Of course not. However, when incidents like this occur, it doesn't make the rest of the state look good. We need to do better in fostering our image with the rest of the world.

Regardless where it was ran you can kind of see which uneducated people took hold of that ideology and ran with it. Usually in poor Suburban underdeveloped uneducated areas. Just because somebody from California made something doesn't mean it's California that's the problem at least that's what it seems you're trying to say. Somebody from Europe made the atomic bombs but we are the one that detonated it think about that.
