So my Medicaid is ending because my mom busts her ass working overtime on 11$ an hour to try and save up for a used car. With 60 hour work weeks Medicaid will no longer cover me. I just got my first job ever getting 14$ hourly and I need to get my own health insurance. This is my choice not hers. I NEED physical therapy and to visit the pain management clinic for my herniated L5 so this needs to happen asap. I have referrals for both but they will be canceled and I will have to wait months if I don't take care of this. If y'all have any suggestions PLEASE help me 😭

Because you know they don't want you talking bad about their Red State. They moved here with six-figure jobs and they have no problem in the world. They think your problems are not liar when we've been complaining about him for years. Also you can apply there or since you're under the age of 26 thanks to our president Obama you can be covered under your mother's Insurance till that age. Sometimes it could be cheaper than anything else. You better ask a lot of questions and some of them May deny you or make the cost go up. If you have any more questions just let me know

Well it's not a government owned company then. It's probably the private sector and government doesn't really have anything in that. I wish I knew the details of what she signed up through the marketplace with. Because making 11 an hour depending on the household and what she put on her taxes she should be able to get a hefty discount. But sometimes when people feel these forms out they don't know what information to put down. I used to sign people up years ago.

So they have her sign up through the Idaho website? They don't have their own insurance then.

Depends on how much you make what bracket you fall into and also the state you live in. But I was able to get my mother on in pretty good insurance for under $50 a month but as I said if you hit a certain amount of money everything kind of cost more. In Idaho since it's at an Idaho website they have their own rules and they offer their own insurance.

All the tax credit is is it means that's the amount they will pay for the insurance premium. So say their insurance premium is $100 and your tax credit is $75 you pay $25. That's a simple as it is. To be honest I would kind of stay away from people that never had the struggle in their whole life. The only good advice they give is when they already made it. But does your mom have insurance right now?
