How to tell is 1987 RG550 is real or not?

A friend of mine asked me to set up his 1987 rg550. I have concerns that it’s not real. The bridge is licensed Floyd and the neck joint looks off…pictured here. It looks to me like it’s the wrong neck. The headstock is matching the yellow of the body.
It has the silver Ibanez serial number but it stats with F. The Ibanez wiki says the serial number should t be an F on the 87 era guitars.
