I deal with intrusive thoughts and obsessive thinking. It makes trying to concentrate on a goal difficult as my mind keeps coming back to these thoughts.
I read something the other day that said something along the lines of โyour thoughts influence who you areโ. And it made me realize that a majority of my thoughts are negatively self-critical and obsessive over recurring themes in my life to the point that I feel stuck in a repetitive cycle. How can I select my thoughts to align with the person I want to be and control compulsive thinking behavior?
