IWTL How to pay attention to someone when they’re talking

Hey guys, so I have a real problem of zoning out of conversations when people are talking to me. It could be anyone: my mom, my friends, my girlfriend, etc. For example, these people could be talking about something really interesting for five minutes, but I’ll zone out and totally not realize what they were talking about.
Any advice would be appreciated!
