I was never taught much growing up and now learning the things I should have when I was younger. I’m male, 5’8, and 22. I struggle with standing up for myself and being assertive. When someone intimidates me, I try to see it as a challenge but stumble and look like a bitch more then I already look. I feel like shit and Then when I am walking around the same people who basically make me looked weak, I just walk to just avoid another confrontation so I don’t do another replay. Trying to break this cycle. Violence is not my go to but I don’t want to continue to be pushed around. Advice on How I can handle this problem would be helpful.
