Hello so im a 35 year old software engineer thats just looking for options on how the process works and what needs to be done.
I have german citzenship via descent (my mother and grandmother were both born in germany) and I am applying for it now but im not sure what to do about my wife. Will she be able to live with me in Germany? And who would be more accepting of my family?
Im mainly looking to get this moving along as a just in case
I am not proficient in German (but am learning) as I just learned about this citizenship via descent recently. I do not have family in Germany (any alive anyway).
Should I get a german passport? Would it make this process more simple?
Unfortunately my company doesnt allow international remote so I would have to find housing, etc,
Im also open to Denmark, Netherlands, Portugal, or Norway as options
