Progesterone after implantation. Wtf?

Post Body

Soooo, we were just informed yesterday that after the embryo hopefully implants, my girlfriend will have to take 8-10 weeks of progesterone. Every time we go in that office it’s like Russian roulette...always a surprise. You never know what’s gonna happen. Am I understanding this right? 8 - 10 weeks of daily shots?

Questions-

My gf is deathly afraid of needles, we got Xanax just for the shots leading up to ER. Has anyone used progesterone suppositories or pills after implantation in lieu of shots? How did it work for you?

Thanks in advance, y’all.
