Hello everyone,
Iโm new to this forum and looking for some advice and shared experiences regarding IVF treatment. Hereโs a bit about my situation:
- Age: 30
- AMH Level: 0.52
- HSG Results: Blocked fallopian tubes
Given these factors, my reproductive endocrinologist has suggested IVF as the best option for us. However, I'm quite anxious about the process, especially considering the costs involved. We're planning to undergo treatment at the Emory Reproductive Center in Atlanta.
My RE mentioned that we might be able to retrieve 1-2 embryos per cycle, which was surprising to me. I'm also advised to see a Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist before getting started.
Has anyone else here gone through IVF at Emory or with similar circumstances? I would greatly appreciate any insights or advice you might have, especially regarding:
- The IVF process at Emory Reproductive Center
- Managing expectations with low AMH and blocked tubes
- Experiences with MFM specialists in Atlanta
- Cost management and any tips on navigating the financial aspects
- Any emotional support tips during this journey
Thank you all for sharing your experiences. It's incredibly helpful to know we're not alone in this.
Looking forward to your responses!
