One of mine: all songs have to have the same number of plays. After resetting the entire library a couple years ago, that number is 11. All songs at 10 only have to played once. More recent additions are played until they reach 11. I do this by updating a playlist of 500 songs every week. Songs of less than 11 plays are randomly selected. If there are too many songs (more than 5) from a single artist I delete the extras.
