First of all, everyone I support is on google apps.
It seems like the trend lately is Apple Mail users having like 25 gigs in their mail database and it's gets corrupted or Outlook users having 25 gig .psts and they get corrupted.
And they ask: "What's the solution?" And I say "Archive, pare down your database." And they just don't and then they ask: "What's the solution?" And I say "Throw away the training wheels and learn to use gmail." And they have panic attacks. And I say "EVERYONE in the Chicago office uses gmail. Do they EVER have email problems? NO! No they don't." And they say: "What's the solution?" And I give them Thunderbird and they hate it. And they say: "What's the solution?"
So I rebuild their mailboxes and repair their .psts and everything's hunky dory for a few weeks or months and then they're like: "Oh, hey Bard, I'm having trouble with my mail again! I thought this issue was resolved!"
Fricken mail clients. Delete them all. Wipe them all out. Get rid of them. I'm gonna drink.
