Does your help desk still take phone calls?
Post Body

Our CIO made a comment fairly recently that he thought it strange that we still take phone calls. He has come from some large companies where every ticket came through a portal. Just curious How my peers here handle their service desk contacts.

If you could tell me your number of users and the method by which tickets come to your help desk, I’d appreciate it.

I’ll go first.

About 8,000 employees. We take phone calls, emails, use a chat bot, and have a self service portal.
