We are looking to move away from our MSP as they are raking us over the coals when it comes to cost without much if any support.
I am currently the only IT person within the company, and I was brought on about 5 years ago as a "Helpdesk" person and "promoted" to IT Manager/Director after about 3 years when the previous one left, without notice.
My question to the masses are what skill's should I be looking for? We are looking to hire someone who's helpdeskish, with some Sys Admin skills, to help offload some of the day to day tasks which will leave me to work on more major projects (such as compliance/security requirements).
Thanks in advance for all your wonderful input!
