Post Body

So I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Information Technology late last year, and I got my first job as a technician/field service technician in May of this year. Lately I have been feeling stuck as to my career progression, since my current salary isn't cutting it, however I do not have the adequate experience to get into higher salary positions. I am currently studying for the Network certification and I plan on taking my Security after. How long should I wait before switching jobs? and will these certifications be worth the time investment if employers want experience? I have been feeling stuck, because I also want to learn Python which is making me consider studying for the certificate, or going for a different path since I already have a job.
