What could I escalate to after a few years of experience?
Post Body

This might sound like a stupid question but I’m genuinely confused on what kind of jobs I might qualify for in the future.

I have my A certification and I’m on track to finish this year with my Bachelors in Networking and Security Operations and a CCNA as well.

I’m currently working as a tech but I’m a bit of a jack of all trades. I test networking equipment and implement configurations to customer specification. That’s my main job , but I’m also setting up a help desk / intranet solution spanning across multiple departments for the company I work at. I also do a bit of scripting to automate a few things on the CRM we use.

I also run cable and terminate when needed, setup laptops and desks for new employees. And as soon as I get my CCNA they’ll move no more towards the networking side of things since we don’t currently have a dedicated network guy that manages company equipment.

I currently make about 45k a year and get along well with my team. I communicate well and have no issues going outside my comfort zone.

I was just wondering if in a few years of experience, certs, and a degree. If this salary would remain fair , cause if it is I definitely want to stay where I’m at.

If not , what kind of positions would I qualify for ?
