I’ve been with my employer for about a year now and I have limited privileges in Active Directory (I can create and delete accounts , reset passwords, unlock accounts) but she wants me to eventually be an Admin which I am more than happy to do. The issue is she wants me to have a certification or some sort of document that validates my skills before giving me rights. Again I have no issue obtaining this , however every Active Directory or Windows Server certification I’ve found has been retired.
She also wants me to obtain the skills for 365 Global Admin which I have found something for and I think I’m going to focus on that for now.
My question is, is there anything that exists , exam, or certification wise that validates knowledge on Active Directory? I feel like I have a good base of knowledge from a couple of courses and creating an at home lab with clients , I just need to be able to present her with something.
Any input will be appreciated!
