Unsure if I should move on.
Post Body

I currently work for a copier company in the Midwest. I started off on their helpdesk for clients troubleshooting printing issues.

I was promoted to an outside analyst after a year and a half. I have currently been in this position for about 6 months and am finding it the same as my helpdesk role with the change of being in front of customers, which I have no issues with.

I feel like I have learned a lot about printing issues and IT in general, but feel like I'm stagnating and putting myself into a corner. A lot of the issues either aren't challenging or I can work my way through them with a little Googling. However I understand that I don't know everything and love to learn.

To that end, I currently have a desktop build with Mac 12.11 and have been playing around with it to familiarize myself with Apple products as I only previously had experience with iPhones and iPad while working in the mobile world for seven years. I've gotten semi proficient with it since I've started. I also have a build of Windows Server 2012.

I'm also going to WGU for my Bachelor's in Information Security and have obtained my Security from them and had my A and Network since 2015. I am currently going for my Project and CCNA R&S after. I am worried that if I stay in this industry that I will not be able to use my newfound skills and will lose them if I do not practice them day to day.

I also feel I am being underpaid at 33k per year and think that my skill set may be worth some additional compensation.

Fellow professionals, can I ask for your opinions?
