How to deal with helpdesk burnout caused by my helpdesk coworker?

Post Body

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is allowed as a post but figured I’d try. So I’m in my first IT job, a helpdesk role. I’ve been in this job for a year. My coworker is approaching a year as well.

I love everything about my job except my coworker. They are annoying, and the attention to detail is not where it needs to be. (Causing me to clean up the mess a lot)

I’m starting to get super frustrated and just looking for advice on what to do. I’m currently studying for the Network exam so I can start shadowing our network admin and get out of the helpdesk but I feel like I’m going to lose my mind before that.

Any advice would be appreciated, anyone can dm me if they’d like more info/clarification
