Recently ive found myself needing a new job. Im 21 years old live in AUS, I enjoy building computers and ive set up a few basic house internet connections for friends and family but its just the stuff your grandma could probably do if she read the manual, nothing hard but i enjoyed it. I want to get into some form of IT job hence why im here but im not sure exactly what direction to head in or what to study for. I find myself looking at network engineer jobs because from my prior googling they seem to get a mix of hardware usage such as switches and plugging in computers and other devices and obviously the network side of it, setting up access points and networks. I could be completely wrong with what ive just said, im just going off what google told me. My strengths are definitely more on the hardware side of things rather than the networking side of things but ive been watching networkchucks mini ccna series and i find it rather interesting and something id give a go. Im just not sure what to do or where to go and need a bit of help to aim in the right direction, if this is the wrong place for this I apologize.
