Entry level pay expectation
Post Body

Currently a construction project management intern in CA (for almost 2yrs), currently at 48k/yr. Will be graduating from WGU BSIT this coming year 2024 (hopefully). Been reading a lot that entry level IT work is hard to get into and has "low" pay.

Is it unrealistic of me to expect to earn more than what I make now when I get into an entry level IT job?

Can I aim for project management job right away with my construction management experience? When I graduate from WGU, will take the PMP certification exam.

Any information on this will be greatly appreciated thank you!
