Starting new job on Tuesday….was sent a 5 year old laptop with a missing key cap
Post Body
For reference this is a major US tech company. The role is a senior role with WFH. It is C2H. Curious how you would handle this day 1. Since it’s C2H I think my plan is to simply notify them of the missing key cap and only speak up if the age of the system is really hindering my work. I’m a SRE so I shouldn’t need a ton of horsepower, though I will be expected to build containers and pipelines. Should I make a bigger stink?
