I am seeing tons of people attempting to enter the industry with no experience but a degree from WGU and over a dozen certifications (14 to be exact) as the certifications are apart of their IA program. If the person completed the program in under a year, I would assume they did some memorization to pass some tests but don’t actually know anything about cyber. Some of these certifications are considered mid-level qualifications as well, such as the SSCP.
Due to the above, every certification on that list now has next to no value to me. What are everyone else’s thoughts on this?
