Hey Reddit,
I've just landed a job as the go-to IT technician for a department of over 100 people. It's an all-encompassing role, and I'll be the sole person responsible for maintaining the day-to-day technical needs of the entire office, encompassing responsibilities from level 1/2/3 helpdesk to junior system administration.
My boss has scheduled a meeting with me tomorrow to discuss what I'll need to succeed in this position. Since I'll be wearing many hats and handling various tasks, I'm trying to nail down exactly what tools, resources, and support I'll require.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has insight into what might be essential in a role like this, I'd greatly appreciate your thoughts and advice!
Thanks in advance!
