Looking to break into the IT field
Post Body

I’m in school for cybersecurity but I love coding and know a good amount of python and Java, and learning C#. I was wondering if anyone had any insight on where to start in the IT field? Should I start in tech support or try to get an entry level developer position? I’m also curious if coding certifications are important to have. I did a PCEP prep course and I’m hesitant to get the cert. I got the COMPTIA Sec cert in October of last year, but I don’t have any IT experience, and applying to IT jobs aren’t getting call backs.
