Are you expected to know alot at an entry level position?
Post Body
I just fired off a resume for a help desk support job at my local community college and was wondering...
As somebody with no prior experience or knowledge of IT, am I expected to know a bunch from the jump? Or is it pretty typical to be trained during the process? I'm nervous about interviewing or starting and seeming like a complete doofus because of my lack of knowledge.
