About a year ago, I posted this thread on how Google calendar displayed different week numbering on my Windows desktop (correct ISO week numbers) and my Android phone (Jan 1 is in week 1):

I got lots of advice to specify English language but a different locale to fix the problem. Trouble was that I didn't want different spelling, decimal commas, etc.
At the time, my phone was on Android 11 OS. I am happy to report that this has been corrected in Android 12, and my phone now has ISO week numbers. I have updated that thread, but year-old threads don't get much attention. On my phone, I don't see any settings to specify that I want ISO weeks, but it must be stored in my Google account from my Windows settings. It happened automatically when my phone updated to Android 12 OS, but it took me a few days to notice. My Samsung tablet is still on Android 11 and still has the error.
