OK, So I filed the first day the IRS opened. It took forever to get ahold of the IRS however I did finally get ahold of them and long story short they couldn't tell me anything. So, I ended up having to get a tax advocate. I couldn't talk to them because it takes multiple months to actually get one assigned, and once they were assigned I Still couldn't talk to them because I'm a peasant, and I can't help them with my own information...(trying not to rant)... long story short I had to get LV Congresswomen involved and once that happened the congresswomen spoke on my behalf to the tax advocate. Essentially the company that I worked for did not provide the IRS with how much I made and how much I claimed. Ultimately I had to provide the congresswomen with a letterhead from the company stating the hours I worked and my rate of pay so they can calculate themselves and then sent that to the advocate who then sent it to the IRS. Once that was said and done I had to then verify myself and my spouse and the 846 came back in 4 days later............mind you I filed on the first day the IRS started accepting refunds and I was an 05 cycle.
Keep ya heads up ladies and gentlemen!
