Hi everyone, hope you're all safe and healthy.
So I filed as independent for the first time this year. Received the 5071C in the mail, and I immediately went online to verify since it seemed simple. However, for some reason it wouldn't accept my student loan acct #. After telling my accountant he said he'd call them and sort it out, but comes back saying he scheduled an appointment for me. BUT the IRS offices closed the same day my appt was scheduled for. And their phone lines are unavailable too.
Will this screw me out of receiving the stimulus check? Thanks for reading!
