I have been reading a lot about this strike, tried to read a lot of articles, terminologies etc. But the question still remains, what happens and how does it affect a normal citizen? I know a friend of mine who is of Indian Nationality and is planning to travel to his country 3 weeks from now. He had to apply for a thing called TRV (Don't know why these even exist) which when approved by IRCC, you need to send your passport to Ottawa for some stamping. Now his passport was delievered today (13th Nov) but he is worried on how will it get back to him after stamping since IRCC prefers Canada Post and he has already begun the process. He has no other option rather than waiting. Bloke hasn't travelled to his home in 4 years and now he gets one chance and this thing comes up. He is so freightened by the thought of not getting his passport back in time.
