Being INTP, I'm one to get bored quickly at jobs and it shows on my resume. A friend tried to give me a dose of truth saying that I don't really have a career with my hodge podge of jobs. But, in my field, switching jobs every few years is pretty common place. This person recommended I shoot for a particular type of role and figure out what I want out of my career and my goals.
I didn't really have an answer and it caused me to be a little frustrated in the feels. The thing is, the jobs I've had and types of work I do, I've done a lot of things in my life that most people haven't even attempted.
Am I alone in this, being okay with job hopping, wanting to learn all the things, and not necessarily caring about not having a specific career and longevity at one place? It just seems like a waste when you can jump and make 10-30% more somewhere else within a year or two.
