It isn't because you're an INTP. It's because of society and social media, the marketing gimmicks that are inundating you unapologetically day to day. Our society is dopamine driven. Dopamine is supposed to be released when you do something good. Think about you in the wild, fighting for food. You finally kill something and are able to eat--- instant dopamine. The dopamine drive is why we have drive for success and money, good health, good habits et cetera. It is the single most important driver for all human motivation. You aren't physically exhausted, you are mentally exhausted. And the reason why is simple. The reason you're mentally exhausted, you're unmotivated, you have mood swings of intense highs and intense lows (with the exception , but also could in addition to those who have bi-polar disorder) is because of the dopamine addition we all have in our generation. Anyone who is on reddit, twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, comment boards, facebook, forums all know that instant rush of seeing a RED (color psychology) notification, that DING you get when someone comments/likes your picture. When that happens dopamine is released. Think about how this has never occurred before in this way before the invention of the internet, before the invention of the notification bell. To get dopamine before you'd actually have to accomplish something. Please do not allow yourself to go down the rabbit hole of dopamine addiction any further and renounce that. Whether it's the notification bell or it's a porn addiction or it's eating food you desperately want any time you want, it's all releasing dopamine instantly and when you can get that same dopamine release from doing something unproductive as you could from doing something productive that results in real reward such as money or status, your mind becomes warped as to what is more important.

This might seem obvious for many people, including myself, but this is something I see on the comment boards here all the time. The attributing of your quirky-traits to this label. The label does not mean anything. It's simply one of 16 or 20 labels created to categorize people. It's not more important than your hair color or skin color and can't predict your habits but most importantly you can't let it limit your future habits.
