As I get older I find it is harder and harder to make, and maintain friendships. Even with individuals I used to chat with on Reddit from time to time, either have stopped talking to me, or ignore me. I've been working on lowering my expectations in this regard, but it is kind of hard. There's a point at which, I want high quality friendships where people match my intensity.
Is it really supposed to be this difficult? Is life this dull? I have one peer who calls themselves a low maintenance friend. I kind of wish I had more friends like that sometimes. I could go months not talking to this person, then reach out, and it would be as if we spoke yesterday.
Do other people struggle with this as well? What do, fam? :(
