Hello.
I'm looking for a 2D artist (and general collaborator).
Someone who can provide a consistent visual style. Stylized. Cartoonish. Personality and style over realism. Primarily for character design, currently, but an ability for concept/world design would certainly be appreciated.
Ideally, one day, I'm hoping to wind up with a video game. The setting/tone for the game is fantasy/D&D in nature. The game is story-focused, single-player. A mix of managing a tavern and combat.
This is, for the foreseeable future, unpaid. I simply don't have any funds to compensate someone, as much as I wish I could. If/when this turns into a finished product, and it results in making money, you will be paid fairly (and credited) for the work you wind up doing. I can't express how important to me it is that I'm respectful, ethical, and fair in giving due recognition and compensation to anyone who helps with this, once able. But, that's a long ways off, and in the short term, this would just be collaborative.
I'm struggling with the artistic side of things currently, and I'm hoping to find someone who'd like to chat, bounce ideas around, take feedback, and revise designs. Maybe you struggle for inspiration or ideas, and you'd like someone to talk/collaborate/work with, or you want to see someone try to turn your 2D designs into 3D models. Perhaps like myself, you might benefit from an accountability partner to provide some positive-pressure/support to help be more productive.
If anyone is interested, please DM, and we can discuss in further detail.
