Hey there, I'm looking to do some user research for a developer! This would also be attached to a portfolio piece for myself and a capstone project for a boot camp I'm in, so I'm looking for something the developer is willing to let me share with future employers.
I would be offering: Usability Review (Referencing best practices and psychology to make a list of prioritized improvements so players have a good experience) Usability Testing (Moderated playtests to seek out any frustrations players run into. This is separate from QA, this is to answer the question "Can players understand what we've put in front of them" and "Are we representing the goal of this game" rather than looking for bugs) Player Interviews and Surveys (Utilizing my knowledge of Psychology to ask the right questions to understand the players' attitudes towards your game)
And more. Reach out and let me know if you have any questions! I can also assist with UI design from the UX perspective.
www.creedencethedesigner.com is my UX Design portfolio.
Mini example of a usability Review(This was a quick review and mock up I made in about an hour for a game dev): https://www.loom.com/share/1612bc67b4b9429a8b2b028924771d43
