First things that come to mind 1.) positions board should have a picture of the car livery like on the spotter guide instead of the the number and manufacturer- hard to remember anything exceeding a 20 car field nonetheless 61 cars
2.) I think amateur drivers should be highlighted / talked about more. I find it fascinating (and inspiring) how itโs a field of pros, doctors, lawyers and self made business men.
3.) more immersive timing websites. I use timing71.org but championships could do a better job considering itโs their product. As a strategy nerd this would be awesome.
What else do think could improve the watching experience?
I'm always amazed at how much they talk, and how little individual team insight is conveyed. Like others have mentioned, there could be a mega battle in a lower class, or a team dropping down from 2nd to 8th and no explanation why. I know it's more headcount, but there should be a dedicated reporter to each class to keep an eye on it to give a consistent update.
"The #46 car is really making up pace in third place because of X, Y and Z".
