VISAS to enter the US
Post Body

I want to share with you some facts about any Visa you have to enter the US:

  1. A Visa does not guarantee your entrance to the US. The border guards make the decision solely on your response to them.
  2. US Border Guards are NOT nice people.
  3. Do not joke with Border Guards during your interview to enter the US. If you give them any reason, they will deny you entry. They have the power to detain you (like in jail) and send you back to your home country on the next return flight.
  4. Be respectful.
  5. Do not tell them more than they ask. Answer their questions even with a simple YES or NO.
  6. If you are on an educational visa, do not mention working outside of training.
  7. US Border Guards are tasked with keeping people out of the US, not letting them in.
