Hi, IKEA lovers. I don’t have a store in my area and haven’t been in about a year or more, but I’m traveling in the neighborhood of one and was hoping to go there and pick up an extra laptop stand or two. Imagine my dismay when I found that SVARTÅSEN (successor to DAVE) no longer appears in their catalog. (I haven’t gone yet — it’s still about another hour’s drive away, so I was hoping to do more research before making the trip.)

There was a post about the apparent discontinuation on here about a year ago, but it didn’t get any real traction. Just wondering if any previous lovers of those laptop stands have found anything else that fits the same niche (similar size, also adjustable height, in a cheap-ish price range), either at IKEA or elsewhere. I didn’t see anything similar enough in the current IKEA catalog, but I remain hopeful that maybe I just missed it somehow.

Thanks in advance for any ideas! I’m in the USA, for reference. Here’s hoping we will see those laptop stands back in stock at IKEA someday soon... I just can’t get enough of them, apparently.
