Would the new Billy paper foil shelves work in the old Billy bookcase?

I recently acquired a second-hand Billy bookcase in black-brown. I want 2 extra shelves for it, but they aren't available anymore. I see that there are extra shelves for the new black oak effect Billy, and so I was wondering if I could use those. Would they fit, and would they look noticeably different? I guess I could try and find the shelves second-hand but I don't know how hard that might be.
