After reading the above article, I thought I should bring up the issue of mental health again in this sub because this has been on my mind since IHE published the video about 13 reasons why and I've just been too busy to collect my thoughts on this in a practical way.
The article discusses many youtubers not being able to handle the pressure and having breakdowns in masse and walking away from their channel for a while. I've noticed and other people have noticed that IHEs format and content have changed since 2016 and surely there are various reasons behind it. None of us seem to hate it, its just different, I think IHE still puts the same amount of effort and care into his videos but a part of me wonders if he's losing his passion for it. I've also noticed he's been publishing videos a lot less frequently and the humour is different from 2016 and prior.
As a fan I'm not complaining, and I would like him to know that I don't think any of us would mind if he ever needed to take a break from youtube or social media. I also would like him to know that he is not obligated to make free content for us and I am thankful for the amount of effort he puts into his work and he seems very lovely to his fans. I just want to remind him to take care of himself and his own wellbeing and that we all care about him.
