These photos are three years apart, but fasting and just walking have helped me lose 11 lbs in 3 months. At 5’3” and 180 or so lbs, I was constantly struggling the past year to lose even 1 lb a month! I would lose a lb then gain 2, even with tracking calories. I mostly do 20:4 and stay around 1300-1500 calories. I have completed several 48 hour fasts and one 72 hour fast during the past 3 months. I also walk 3 miles a day 5 days a week.
My relationship with food has completely changed. Gone are the days where I would eat all evening when I had a bad day. I’ve learned to deal with stress and anxiety in healthier ways now.
I wish everyday I would have discovered this earlier in my 30’s, but I am so thankful to have this tool now at almost 40.
