Post Body

I used to be the account manager at an apartment complex, this one particular resident never paid rent on time or paid fees/fines because he "befriended" the previous accountant and everyone else that worked there. He'd hang out with my co workers, have their personal phone numbers, sometimes steal from them and convince to get him out of financial troubles. As soon as he heard I was taking over that position, he tried getting my number. I had meetings with him several times in my time there to explain why he has to pay things or why he can't just "borrow" office items. I did not cut him any slack but he never gave up trying to be a fake friend. I'm a girl and really short, usually too nice and way too patient, so he figured me working there was the best thing to happen to him.

My boyfriend got a job out of state, a month later I quit my job and moved out there with him. Two months later, we go back for a graduation and I stop by the apartment after the ceremony to see my friend/ex co worker. I'm wearing heels and a short black dress, pretty low cut. Five minutes in, that guy stops by the front office.

"Sweeeeetie!" while giving me a hug. "Hey, can you look at my account, I'm not re--"

I don't work here, I don't even live in this state anymore. His jaw dropped. The person in that position now is a really tall muscly guy that already doesn't like you either. Byyyyye!

I know he ends up in the front office at least once a week for whatever reason, him not realizing I wasn't there for 3 months is just dense.
