Where has this sub been all my life. Three stories to share.
Post Body
- I went to Canadian Tire after a catering shift (part time seasonal job), black pencil skirt, black long sleeve shirt, flats and an apron tied around my waist. I was looking at a new steering wheel cover when a woman comes up to me and asks me where to find a specific spray paint. I looked at her confused and said I don't work here. She asked me again, so I told her again, I don't work here and to find an employee, or go to customer service. She looked like I told her there was no Santa and said I was wearing their uniform....I just walked away...
- I was shopping at the grocery store I worked at, on my day off, and a woman came up with a flyer and asked my where things were. I told her I wasn't actually working today, and pointed, and a clerk that was and told her he would be happy to help. He saw me point at him and came over to help her. She got upset and said she wanted MY help and not his. She stormed off to find the manager, and I just continued shopping. On my next shift, he told me what the lady said and told me next time just to ignore her. She had a habit of attaching herself to employees. She came in pretty much everyday at different times.
- Last month I was at Winner (like Marshalls ir TJ Maxx). I returned a purse, then went and looked around the store. A woman came up to me and was asking about brands, prices and the other stores in the city. I took it as small talk, and gave short answers and tried to be friendly. She stayed beside me for a couple isles. Then asked if I could buy a shirt and pretend its mine to get my employee discount. I told her I didn't work here, and that might get an employee in trouble. She got mad and stormed off.
