Love the game, couple of ideas

Post Body

So Iā€™ve been playing this game for a week or so now and so far enjoy it (other than losing my save at one point lol). The building is fun, the wild animals keep me on my toes, and the missions provide enough break from the normal ā€œbuild and surviveā€ that it doesnā€™t become boring. Thereā€™s a couple of ideas I have that could improve QOL and overall gameplay. Would love to hear yā€™allā€™s thoughts and hopefully the devs see this.

1: The electric and water systems. As of right now, Iā€™ve noticed that water pumps and electricity producers (water wheel, generators, solar panels, windmills) can only have 1 electrical wire/water hose attached to them. While this makes sense for the water pumps up to a point, Iā€™ve found it frustrating when trying to manage my electrical systems. Not being able to connect electrical systems together without being forced to split wires just seems odd to me. It would be nice to be able to have multiple wires being able to lead to and from the same generator or windmill.

2: Coconuts. Getting them is a rarity from palm trees, Iā€™ve cut down around 30 trees and gotten 5 coconuts among them. And the transition timer between them I feel is too short. You need Ripe Coconuts for some of the food recipes, and yet by the time I get a few coconuts and make my way back to my main base theyā€™re already Matured Coconuts and unusable in cooking, only eating as is. My suggestion to that is to either make it so that any coconut can be used as a cooking recipe, allow us to grow coconut trees that are harvestable multiple times, or increase the timer between coconut transitions to at least 1-2 in game days. 5min transition and the low rate of drop means theyā€™re not really a viable form of food, not even for emergencies.

3: Tamed animals. Tamed animals need a speed increase. Wild animals can keep up rather well when attacking us, even the babies donā€™t fall too far behind when being lead to base for taming. But once they are tamed, they canā€™t keep up at all when following. Wolves are only decent for base defense because of this, or weā€™re forced to use the Orbital Exchange to drop them where we want them on the map. At this point the only useful games are the mounts, chickens, and goats, but the goats and chickens are expensive, and the mounts are still a bit limited (IMO) due to this drop in following speed.

4: Breeding. Speaking of tames, idk if itā€™s in the works or not, but I feel that breeding could be an interesting mechanic, at least for the chickens. While there are food recipes for chicken, considering the 250 ren it costs per chicken, again itā€™s not a viable food source. Even if I saved up and got 4 or 10 chickens, itā€™s more effective to only use them for eggs rather than poultry. It would be nice to be able to raise chickens for food, or barring that, make it so that something like the Moa or introducing another bird species that can be harvested for chicken meat instead of regular meat.

5: Wire snapping. Ok, last one. Call me OCD, but having wires and water pipes all over the place is a little annoying. It would be nice to be able to snap wires and pipes along the edges of walls and floors for a more clean look, but thatā€™s just me.

Anyway, thatā€™s all Iā€™ve got for now. Let me know what yā€™all think!
