I'm a 19 year old first year apprentice and have been absolutely loving the trade thus far. The only issue I have with it is how my body may end up when I am 55 when I retire. I have had my fair share of labor, but I have never had any injuries or nagging pains until recently. My wrists hurt whenever I have to apply pressure on them or whenever I have to use my channel locks which is how I think I hurt them in the first place. The pain isn't bad, but if they are hurting this early in I am worried to find out what they will be like in even just a couple more years. If anyone has any advice on how to protect my wrists and even just any other parts of my body while working in this trade I would appreciate hearing it.
