I am at a complete loss. I (21M) have had gastro issues for almost two years now. It started when I had a large amount of blood in my stool, and went to urgent care. They checked for hemorrhoids, which were not present, and pressed on my stomach until they found the spot that it hurt, lower left abdomen. I then went to a gastroenterologist, who said it sounded like textbook UC when describing my symptoms, set a colonoscopy to confirm. The only thing that the colonoscopy could find was mild inflammation and redness in my rectum and colon, but no ulcers. I then had a CT scan, which came back normal. Since then I have seen 3 different doctors, all who have said basically there is something wrong, but all tests are normal and we have no idea what to do. I go through periods where everything is fine, but after a couple months it always comes back, blood in stool, constipation or diarrhea, vomiting and weakness. Yesterday it started again, but this time there was no stool, just blood and what looked like blood clots, and today I have had no blood but green diarrhea. I am looking for another doctor that will take my insurance to try again, I just don’t know what to do and it feels horrible because no one seems to take me seriously but my family and girlfriend, who feel it is very serious.
