So I started taking 50mg of azathioprine around 3 weeks ago. Initially my side effects included a slight headache but nothing too major. I then increased my dosage to 100mg after two weeks. I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but at the same time, I've had a flare up of my UC and I'm fighting some kind of viral fever. I've reduced my dosage back down to 50mg however, for the last couple of nights, I've been sick and I'm sure it's down to the azathioprine! I usually take it around 6.30pm and by the time I'm normally in deep sleep, instead I'm in the bathroom throwing up.

Is this normal with azathioprine? I'm seriously considering stopping it completely as I can't take the daily sickness. :(
